Forced To Remove A PostAs you have probably realized; I have been forced to remove a particular post of mine, that I felt justified to submit. For those who did not see it, it was a sign, that simply read: 'Jesus had 2 dads, and he turned out fine'. These were not originally my words- I saw them on an actual sign that was used at a gay pride event! I thought it was a strong message, that deserved to be shared, so I tried to!People have even come at me with things like "he didn't turn out fine! He was the victim of a hate crime!" A) You missed my point entirely!&B) Wtf? he wasn't the victim of a hate crime at all! As far as I was aware, he sacrificed himself willingly as a way of redeeming man's sins, in the eyes of god . . .unless you're trying to say you're one of those people who has, frankly, unjustified problems with certain other religious groups?Anywho, onto why I've been 'forced': it's because of the words of DA users/group members like the one I got a "comment" from just this morning: C
Me Vs. The HomophobeThe hate in some people really does baffle me. I found this video on Youtube I found recently- and please don't get me wrong; I feel bad for the kid in it, cuz of what their parents/grandparents' hateful influence has meant for them:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VaGWtYjojO4I wasn't gonna comment on it- until I read this one some credit to the human race hadalready posted:"its funny how america is so backwards. allowing homosexuality to be the norm is cancer to society."I felt like I couldn't just let that slur lie, so I told them:"Yeah, mate? Well fuck you too! Go back to Westboro you fuckin waste o life!"It's vulgar, I know- but I was in the moment. I seriously was not at all expecting a reply to that. I just said what somebody else might have eventually. But then- and I have to tell you, I'm still kinda getting over the shock of this- a little while later; I get an e-mail notification of this, from the same damn user:"its ok. youre ignorance is blinding you.
